Regions is seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to advance cloud strategy by building secure CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure. The role partners with stakeholders to implement DevSecOps best practices, and to create fully automated pipelines that streamline cloud deployments across services.

The candidate will work with Enterprise Architecture, InfoSec, and Quality Assurance to ensure compliance, automated testing, and reliable deployment, while staying aligned with Regions' security

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of related post-secondary education and/or experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
• Two (2) years of relevant DevSecOps experience.
• AWS DevOps certification or Azure DevOps certification.
• Experience in building / deploying cloud native applications – OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with interfacing with secrets management solutions like Hashicorp Vault.
• Familiar with Chaos engineering principles in CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Assists with releasing candidate CI/CD pipelines to communicate the release states and steps.
• Designs and develops autonomous CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments with automated infrastructure and application deployment.
• Ensures pipeline components follow automated testing and infrastructure testing practices.
• Builds tools to reduce errors and improve customer experiences.
• Troubleshoots production issues and creates clear documentation and metrics for root-cause analysis.
• Develops and tests Ansible Playbooks, Terraform, and Packer scripts for immutable infrastructure.
• Collaborates with Enterprise Architecture, InfoSec, Software Delivery, and QA to enable cloud automation.
• Ensures compliance with risk management and cybersecurity practices; supports process improvements.
