Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a mission-focused Cloud DevOps Engineer to support NGA’s GEOINT mission in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The candidate must have an active Top Secret clearance and strong experience in Python development, cloud environments, and software integration. This role includes responsibilities such as developing software artifacts, maintaining code integrity through testing, and collaborating with engineering teams using GitLab and Jira. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with cloud, SOA, or web-services environments.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, debug, and maintain software artifacts in Python.
• Write validation tests against existing baselines to protect code integrity during Agile development.
• Support unit testing and software quality efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams using Jira and Confluence.
