Job summary

Wipro Limited in the United States is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation across cloud platforms. You will automate builds, tests, deployments, and monitoring while managing Terraform/Ansible-based IaC and containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve performance, reliability, and scalable delivery, with emphasis on security controls and compliance

Qualifications

• Strong experience with DevOps methodologies and practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of Git version control.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage source code repositories and automation workflows using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or similar tools.
• Integrate security controls, compliance checks, and secrets management into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
