Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DevOps Engineer to strengthen cloud-native web applications and CI/CD pipelines across environments. You’ll build, automate, secure, and optimize deployments using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Azure services, collaborating with developers, security teams, and architects to deliver reliable platforms.

Bring 2+ years of DevOps experience, a passion for automation, and a practical understanding of cloud security and networking.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing tools, automation, and processes that improve DevOps or DevSecOps maturity, including automated builds, testing, deployments, and release management across environments
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving CI / CD pipeline, deployment, or cloud infrastructure issues
• Experience with Git-based software development workflows and CI / CD platforms such as GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Experience deploying or supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
• Experience with containerization using Docker, including Linux-based container builds
• Experience developing, deploying, or supporting cloud-native web applications
• Experience creating solutions to complex technical problems within a collaborative development team environment
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, and application deployment concepts
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Build mission-ready tech that protects the nation and strengthens DevOps capabilities
• Design and improve cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, networking, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with developers, architects, security teams, and other engineers to identify opportunities for automation
• Use GitHub and GitHub Actions to automate builds, testing, and deployments across environments
• Support containerized Linux workloads using Docker and Azure Container Registry, and deploy apps with Azure services such as Azure Container Apps, Web Apps, and Functions
• Improve application reliability, deployment consistency, security, and developer experience
• Work with secure networking patterns, including Azure VNets, private endpoints, and private connectivity between services
