Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server).
• Experience in CI/CD and Jenkins, Git.
• Security practices: VPNs, system hardening for cloud.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Citrix).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Rackspace, and OpenStack.
• Develop and manage automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Python to streamline deployment processes.
• Build and optimize containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate microservices architecture using Kubernetes and related tools.
• Ensure system security through system hardening practices, VPN configurations, and adherence to security best practices for cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and other DevOps tools for rapid software deployment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to virtualization technologies such as VMware and Citrix.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture designs, configurations, and operational procedures following Agile SDLC methodologies.

Experience

• Proven experience in cloud computing environments including IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), SaaS (Software as a Service), with hands-on knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Rackspace or OpenStack.
• Strong background in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Citrix; familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell; experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef or Puppet.
• Solid understanding of web services architectures including RESTful APIs; experience working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience working within Agile development environments; familiarity with SDLC processes for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of network security practices including VPN setup and system hardening techniques; ability to implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT infrastructure at scale using modern DevOps practices; excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to system management.

Pay: $100,978.41 - $180,264.31 per year
