Job summary

Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) is seeking a Cloud Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud applications in Chantilly, VA. You will leverage Node.js, React.js, AWS services, and modern frameworks to deliver cloud-first solutions for government-grade IL workloads.

The role emphasizes on-site presence in Chantilly, with a focus on infrastructure as code, secure deployments, and modern development practices. US citizenship and ability to obtain clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AWS CDK and SDK for infrastructure as code.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js 18+ REST API development and operations with AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency in React.js 18+ and Material UI for frontend development.
• Expertise in React hooks, TanStack, and Axios for state and data management.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript 4+ and ECMAScript 2020/11+.
• Deep experience with AWS services such as Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, RDS Postgres, DynamoDB, and SQS.
• Familiarity with AWS IAM, SSM, and Secrets Manager for application security.
• Strong understanding of SQL query optimization techniques.

We are seeking a talented Cloud Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based applications. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Node.js, React.js, AWS services, and modern development frameworks to drive impactful solutions for our organization. This role is expected to be onsite in Chantilly,VA the majority of the time.

Target Salary Range: $90,000-125,000.This range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual salary will be based on a combination of factors, including the position’s scope and level of responsibility, the candidate’s relevant experience, education, technical expertise, skills and qualifications, geographic location, and applicable business or contractual requirements.
