Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with cloud, networking, security products and enterprise network infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production deployments and ensure successful customer deployments.
  • Serve as single point of contact during deployment periods and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders.
  • Define success criteria, metrics, milestones, and timelines; keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate cross-team effort across deployment, engineering, and product teams.
  • Oversee release management, change control, and continuous improvement of release processes.
  • Allocate resources efficiently while maintaining quality and cost controls.

Job description

Summary

The Cloud Operations Deployment Manager is responsible for coordinating Cloud deployments

for our customers and all aspects of operations management of the Cloud for their

pre-production and production environments. This role requires Exe,[ta blend of project management,

technical understanding, organization skills, and good communication to ensure that the customers

deployment goals are met within the established timelines.

The CODM partners with various teams like deployment engineers, support engineers, product

management and engineering, as well as our customers teams to provide the customer with an excellent

experience.

This role generally works a standard business week, but occasional weekend work and / or on-call

rotations may be required. A flexible schedule is required as most releases occur outside of regular

business hours.

Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)
  • Manage Production Deployments
  • Responsible for the overall success of named customer deployments as single point of

contact during the deployment period

  • Build and maintain well established relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Establish success criteria, metrics, milestones, and timelines for deployment projects and

ensure projects remain on track and on time

  • Manage Customers to ensure all teams are aligned and deliverables are met.
  • Maintain project tracking and customer issue documentation within appropriate systems and

databases

  • Release Management including Change Management
  • Continuous improvement of Release Standards and Processes
  • Oversee and ensure efficient allocation of resources by ensuring projects stay within budget

while maintaining quality standards and implementing cost saving measures where

appropriate


Education and/or Experience
  • A college degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in Change and Release management
  • Prior experience in cloud, networking, security products and enterprise network infrastructure

  • A strong decision making and prioritization skillset, with ability to operate effectively under

pressure in dealing with multiple customers

  • Problem solving and analytical skills, capable of identifying roadblocks and developing

effective solutions

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, customers

and stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal and Customer teams to ensure an excellent customer experience
  • Work well in a distributed, fast paced and dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to present to a large audience and facilitate calls of that size
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of AWS: CloudFormation, EC2, S3, EMR, ECS, ECR, CodeDeploy, Autoscale,

Cloudwatch

  • Actively and attentively engage in conversations to fully understand others perspectives and

needs


Technical Skills
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of specific technologies is ideal:

Databases: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server

Atlassian Products: Confluence, Jira


Language Skills
  • Ability to speak the English language proficiently, both verbally and in writing
Travel Requirements
  • This position may require up to 10% travel based on business need
