Job summary

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) seeks a Cloud Response SME to support a Quantico-based customer in DoD cyber defense. You will build detection use cases, support incident investigations, and help deploy new cloud security capabilities.

You must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and meet DoD 8570 certifications; DoD 8140 DCWF pathways are acceptable. The role requires on-site work in Quantico, VA and offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5 years of practical experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E, or A&A-related field.
• DoD/W 8570 IAT Level III certification (valid/current).
• DoD/W 8570 CSSP Analyst certification (valid/current).
• Future DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce (DCWF) certifications accepted at Advanced Proficiency Level.

Responsibilities

• Develop detection use cases focused on cloud environments using the customer’s defense tools.
• Assist with investigation of and response to cyberspace incidents in cloud environments.
• Assist with designing and deploying new capabilities in cloud environments.
• Demonstrate effectiveness by identifying and preventing Red Team activity in the cloud.
• Update tactics, techniques, procedures, training, and education documentation as needed.
• Prepare and present a course covering basics of Cloud Computing security and common attack scenarios.
• Provide support to maintain CSSP accreditation with documentation.
