Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System’s Enterprise Data Cloud team seeks a Cloud Data Operations Engineer to support the Director of Data Cloud Engineering in planning, design, implementation and deployment support. Focus on Azure and related services, with mentorship of junior staff in cloud adoption.

The role is hybrid/onsite at 150 E 42nd Street, NY, requiring onsite presence for interviews and key deployments, collaborating with internal stakeholders to align with DTP strategy and Enterprise

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters preferred.
Eight years of diverse IT experience with at least six years in systems analysis and application development.

Responsibilities

Clear understanding of Azure cloud stack including Serverless, Managed and custom deployments.
Mentor junior resources on cloud adoption within DTP team.
Provide support to design and implement complex solutions and migration roadmaps.
Develop architecture specifications mapping business requirements to technology solutions.
Assist in creating project plans and work breakdown structures.
