Qualifications

• At least 7 years of database and SQL experience.
• Extensive experience securing databases with encryption and security APIs.
• 4+ years deploying and monitoring data systems in cloud environments.
• 5+ years database design with stored procedures, triggers, indexing.
• Experience with cloud-native design (containers, serverless, microservices).

Responsibilities

• Perform application development tasks including researching and documenting designs, programming, unit tests, defect testing, and customer technical support.
• Review business requirements with technical manager to ensure clear implementation.
• Implement systems and program design to meet complex business needs.
• Create documentation in code and technical docs.
• Assist technical manager with time estimates and tasks.
• Guide the software development team in coding, testing, debugging, and documenting complex programs and test plans.
• Troubleshoot complex end-user issues and lead resolutions.
• Implement release management processes coordinating with infrastructure.
• Use iterative and agile SDLC methodologies.

Description

• ? Performing application development tasks including researching and documenting technical designs, programming solutions, writing and executing unit test plans, researching, resolving, and testing defects, customer technical support, and close collaboration with project team.
• ? Review business requirements documentation with technical manager to ensure clarity in implementation of technical design.
• ? Implement systems and program design to meet highly complex business needs and technical design document.
• ? Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code and technical documentation.
• ? Assists technical manager in development of time estimates and assigned tasks
• Guides the software development team in coding, testing, debugging, implementing, and documenting highly complex programs, and developing complex test plans to verify logic programs.
• ? Troubleshoots complex end user technical issues, identifying problems and leading solutions
• ? Implements release management process including technical steps to promote, test and release through the development environment, coordinating with infrastructure staff.
• ? Uses iterative and agile software development life cycle methodologies.

Mandatory Qualification

• ? 84 months experience in database/schema architecture, SQL coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills
• ? 84 months experience architecting secure databases using security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption, and decryption algorithms for data security, PL/SQL, Normalization, Database Optimization
• ? 48 months experience of application deployment and monitoring systems and database monitoring tools.
• ? 48 Months database application experience, triggers, indexes, stored procedures
• ? 48 months experience in a cloud environment, including knowledge on cloud/hybrid infrastructure including AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• ? 48 months experience creating cloud native database design that can include aspects such as containerization, API-first, serverless and microservices architecture.
