Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer in Columbus, OH to contribute to modern cloud-based data initiatives for enterprise clients. You will design and deliver scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architectures across AWS, Azure, and other environments, collaborating with clients and internal teams to solve complex business problems.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional Data Engineering experience with ownership of deliverables.
Experience with lakehouse patterns, Medallion Architecture, and cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support production-grade data pipelines and processing solutions.
Build scalable data solutions in AWS, Azure, and other cloud environments.
Translate business needs into data solutions and collaborate with stakeholders.
Develop ETL/ELT processes for ingestion, transformation, cleansing, and delivery.
Contribute to modern lakehouse architectures and data patterns across projects.
Evaluate approaches and communicate tradeoffs for scalability, performance and cost.
Move between client engagements and adapt to new domains and technologies.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and delivery.
