Job summary
Comcast is seeking a Data Engineer (Engineer 3) to join the Data Product Engineering Team. You will design and scale data pipelines for enterprise datasets, focusing on large-scale integration of workforce, billing, and interaction data using AWS, PySpark, and Databricks.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the evolution of the enterprise data platform while ensuring high performance and reliability of data solutions across cloud
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Info Systems or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in Data Engineering or similar roles; strong ETL/ELT experience.
- Hands-on with AWS, PySpark, Databricks; knowledge of distributed data processing.
- Experience with Airflow/MWAA, Kubernetes, and data warehousing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines for enterprise datasets.
- Build cloud-native data solutions using AWS, Databricks, and PySpark.
- Develop batch and streaming processing, orchestrating with Airflow/MWAA.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across large datasets.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
