Job summary

Alto-Shaam is seeking a Data Architect to design and build our cloud data platform. You will define the data model, governance, security, and ingestion from ERP, CRM, and connected equipment, aligning with business needs across finance, manufacturing, and service.

The role uses Snowflake, Fivetran and dbt to deliver a scalable architecture, leads data quality and lineage, and mentors teammates. You will translate business requirements into data models and partner with IT on integration strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field, plus 6+ years in data engineering.
• Experience owning design of a production data warehouse across 3+ source systems.
• Expert SQL and Python with hands-on dimensional modeling.
• Cloud data platform experience (Snowflake or equivalent) with ELT/dbt.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the data model and semantic layer for dashboards and AI tools.
• Own ingestion from ERP, CRM, and file-based feeds; manage CI/CD and data environments.
• Lead data quality, governance, tests and lineage.
• Mentor junior data team members and set standards.
