Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) in Austin, TX seeks a senior cybersecurity lead to guide policy, strategy, and compliance for enterprise cloud applications. You will develop system security documentation aligned with federal standards for certification and accreditation.

Required: Bachelor’s in CS/IS/Engineering and 8+ years of related experience, DoD policies, NIST 800-53r5, and an active clearance. DevSecOps mindset and liaison with senior policy directors are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering and 8+ years of related work experience.
• Expert knowledge of DoD information security policies and standards.
• Familiar with NIST 800-53r5 and system configuration analysis.
• Active security clearance and IAT-II requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and guidance for cybersecurity policy, strategy, and compliance for multiple organization level enterprise cloud applications
• Development and delivery of system security and information assurance documentation, consistent with federal standards to support system certification and accreditation
• Be an advocate for a modern, DevSecOps-style approach for testing and conveying control information (NIST RMF)
• Devise policy recommendations to streamline and accelerate security outcomes
• Provide guidance and oversight at the platform and application levels
• Interact with senior policy directors at the Department and Service level as needed
