Job summary

Oracle seeks an architecture-focused security leader to shape the technical direction of foundational OCI cryptographic and trust services. The role spans authentication, authorization, KMS, secrets, PKI, and certificates, influencing secure, scalable distributed systems across regions.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive durable design patterns, and partner with cross-functional teams to reinforce security controls and platform reliability in a global cloud footprint.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in security architecture.
• Experience designing secure, scalable cryptographic services.
• Ability to mentor senior engineers and lead cross-team reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and influence secure, scalable, highly available cryptographic services across OCI's global cloud footprint.
• Lead architecture for authentication, authorization, service-to-service trust, KMS, secrets, certificates, PKI, and key exchange.
• Partner with engineering leaders to assess security risk, improve resiliency, and strengthen platform-wide trust controls.
• Modernize existing services into cloud-native architectures that scale across regions and customer models.
• Define best practices for secure distributed systems, observability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for Tier 0 services.
• Guide architecture reviews and decisions across teams integrating with OCI Crypto services.
• Mentor engineers and establish durable design patterns for reliability and security at hyperscale.
