Job summary

SAIC seeks a Senior Cloud Computing Engineer to join our team supporting USG IC and DoD programs. You will lead cloud architecture efforts, implement IaaS/PaaS/SaaS solutions, and apply security best practices in a SETA-enabled environment.

Offered responsibilities include designing cloud environments, migrating applications, and advising on cloud development strategies. Active TS/SCI clearance with poly is required to access customer systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math with minimum of 14 years of relevant work experience or 11 years with master's degree.
• Experience with two or more cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
• DoD 8140 certification required to get privileged user access (Security+, CISSP, CISM, or GSEC).
• Working knowledge of networks, compute, storage, virtualization, design and architecture across multiple fabrics (classification levels).
• Proven experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems and commands.
• Experience with applications used in research such as Python and Jupyter Lab.
• Proven self-starter and customer focused.

SAIC seeks a SeniorCloud Computing Engineer to join our team of professionals providing technical and program services to the U.S. Government (USG). SAIC provides research, engineering, design, analysis, acquisition, development, integration, test, and operations support USG Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. We support development and delivery of next generation and generation after next national security systems based on land, at sea, in air, and in space.

The Senior Cloud Computing Engineer sought here serves a USG Program Office leading Research & Development (R&D) of evolutionary, revolutionary, and transformational cloud-based architectures.

This position provides Systems Engineering & Technical Advisory (SETA) support services.
