Job summary

3Cloud is seeking a Cloud Architect – Networking to lead technical delivery on client engagements and drive architectural design sessions with our clients. You will coach peers, improve infrastructure delivery, and collaborate across delivery and solution architecture teams to scale our cloud capabilities.

The role requires broad Azure expertise, strong communication, and the AZ-305 certification, with a flexible, sponsor-free environment and a focus on outcomes.”

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical oversight on multiple client engagements.

• Experience configuring NSGs, Azure Firewall, WAF, and DDoS Protection.

• AZ-305 Cloud Architect certification is required.

Cloud Architect – Networking

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technical delivery leadership on client engagements
• Lead the architectural design sessions with the clients
• Provide regular coaching and guidance to peers that help with the implementation, and manage client expectations all while cultivating a collaborative and inclusive team culture
• Help support the upskilling of team members and build their confidence in infrastructure delivery
• Foster and build relationships between cloud infrastructure teams (delivery, delivery excellence, and solution architecture) as well as outside of the practice
• Partner up with Delivery Excellence to ensure project milestones are aligned to a project plan that is inclusive of capturing key client decisions
• Help the delivery team reach billable targets by assisting with breaking through project blockers
• Help facilitate change orders and project extensions when in-flight projects call for it
• Help drive alignment where there are technical mesh points between other 3Cloud practice areas by providing technical oversight and direction
• Lead and guide multiple engagements that help enable our infrastructure team to scale out
• Help support teammates with unblocking engagements and remediating possible escalations before they happen
• Create reusable artifacts and content that enable our team members to bill their time to our clients

Requirements

• Previous experience acting as the technical delivery oversight on multiple client engagements with strong consultative skills
• Broad deep technical knowledge across Azure technologies inclusive of: Log Analytics (KQL), Application Insights, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure Security, Azure Networking (App Gateways, Front Door, Firewall, VWAN), Azure Storage, Azure Automation (IaC), Azure Sentinel, App Services, Containers (AKS), Managed Instances, Azure SQL, Azure DNS, Azure Virtual Desktop + Nerdio, Azure Files
• Knowledge of designing and implementing secure, high-performance network topologies using Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and peering strategies
• Experience configuring Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Azure DDoS Protection to enforce segmentation and secure traffic flow
• Have a strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and the delivery/execution of how they are implemented using IaC (Bicep or Terraform)
• Drive to maintain knowledge of the latest technologies and how they may impact existing 3Cloud offerings
• Understanding of cloud ecosystem and leading-edge cloud emerging technologies.
• Performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation techniques.
• Strong analytical problem-solving ability.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a virtual project team
• Have obtained the AZ-305 Cloud Architect certification

If you are hired at 3Cloud your final base salary is based on factors such as skills, education, experience and/or geographic location.Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above includes the full base salary range for the role.It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.

Base Salary Range

$121,800—$194,900 USD
