Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise / Cloud Architect with strong hands‑on expertise in GCP, GKE, and large‑scale Java application migration. The candidate must have proven experience modernizing legacy Java monoliths on GCP, designing stateful workloads, and maintaining session continuity in Kubernetes environments.

Mandatory Skills

• GCP & GKE: Production-level architecture, deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Java Migration: Enterprise Java monolith/legacy application migration to GCP/GKE.
• Redis/Valkey: Hands‑on distributed caching/session storage, HA, replication, and failover.
• GCP Networking: VPC/Shared VPC, Cloud DNS, Load Balancing, hybrid connectivity, and DNS‑based service discovery.
• Stateful Workloads: Session persistence during pod restarts, rescheduling, and scaling.
• Terraform & Reliability: IaC, HA, disaster recovery, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong technical leadership and architecture decision‑making.

Important: Candidates must demonstrate practical implementation experience, not just theoretical knowledge or keyword exposure.

Work Arrangement: Must be willing to work hybrid in Austin, TX.
