Job summary

Boys Town is seeking a Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud solutions. You will collaborate with IT, security, engineering, and business teams to migrate apps and establish resilient cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The ideal candidate has deep cloud infrastructure expertise, strong networking and security skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical roadmaps. On-site in Omaha, NE is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud-native architecture and infrastructure
• Hands-on security/compliance experience
• Willingness for on-call work outside standard hours
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Cloud certifications: AWS/Azure/Google or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Use IaC to build reusable components and automation
• Create blueprints/roadmaps for cloud systems
• Select platforms/tools to optimize performance and cost
• Oversee cloud migration with minimal downtime
• Conduct PoC trials for new cloud tech
• Ensure secure environments (IAM, encryption, compliance)
• Monitor workloads for performance and cost efficiency
• Document architectures and configurations
• Guide teams of engineers and DevOps on best practices
• Manage vendor relationships and roadmaps
