Zusammenfassung

GTSC seeks a senior Cloud Architect AI Engineer (Level IV) to lead systems engineering across the lifecycle in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. All work is on-site, with a requirement for TS/SCI with polygraph and extensive cloud/AI experience to deliver secure, scalable architectures.

You will design AI/ML solutions, guide DevOps/ML Ops, ensure system security on classified networks, and collaborate with government and program stakeholders to meet mission requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Cloud Architecture/Cloud Engineer/Platform Engineering (especially in AWS).
• AI/ML system design and implementation.
• High-level understanding of the AI lifecycle (development, training, inference, monitoring).
• Experience with ML pipeline development, model deployment, and DevOps/ML Ops.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with a variety of stakeholder groups, ability to proactively engage with these groups to understand requirements and inform system architecture decisions.

Job Description

GTSC seeks a Cloud Architect Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer , Level IV, to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland

All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Mission : As a Cloud Architect Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer , you are responsible for applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• 10 years of demonstrated combined years of experience (YOE) in cloud and artificial intelligence systems with a bachelor's degree; if Master's degree then eight (8) YOE; if Ph.D., 8 YOE, else 14 YOE DoD program management or relevant experience if a high school/GED graduate.

Certifications:

• No certifications required.

Required Skills:

Cloud Architecture/ Cloud Engineer/ Platform Engineering (especially in AWS).

AI/ML system design and implementation.

High-level understanding of the AI lifecycle (development, training, inference, monitoring).

Experience with ML pipeline development, model deployment, and DevOps/ML Ops.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a variety of stakeholder groups, ability to proactively engage with these groups to understand requirements and inform system architecture decisions.

Education and Required Qualification

A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience.

OR

A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience.

OR

A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience.

OR

A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience.
