Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Cloud Architect in Washington, D.C. to lead secure cloud design, implementation, and ongoing operations.

You will design scalable architectures, manage data flows, and ensure robust identity and recovery capabilities across platforms. The role requires coordinating with network teams and conducting threat modeling; you will also oversee GPU server identity and storage path acceptance, backups, and logs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture and operations.
• Experience in intelligence, national security, defense, or similar mission environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and operation of secure cloud architectures and platform services.
• Document threat models, data flows, identity management, and recovery processes.
• Coordinate with endpoint and network specialists and ensure handover readiness.
• Provide GPU server identity and storage path acceptance conditions; oversee logs and backups.
