Job summary

BeyondSOF is seeking a senior professional to lead secure, scalable cloud architectures and platform operations supporting mission requirements in a national security context.

You will drive design, implementation, and operational management across data flows, identity, recovery, and logging, coordinating with network and endpoint teams while ensuring compliance and protection before exchanges resume.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD “TOP SECRET” security clearance
• Demonstrated experience performing responsibilities directly related to the position.
• Ability to work in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with senior leaders, technical experts, or operational stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and operational management of secure, scalable, and extensible cloud architectures, infrastructure services, data flows, identity management capabilities, recovery processes, and platform operations that support mission and business requirements.
• Implement approved connectivity and cloud choices with reproducible evidence of protection.
• Operate Proxmox services; maintain backups, recovery, identity, and logs diligently and consistently.
• Accept isolation zones for collectors, sanitization, and identity mapping securely.
• Train substitutes; exercise restores; verify protections before exchanges resume reliably.
• Coordinate endpoint and network specialists; retain operational ownership post-handover effectively.
• Provide GPU server identity and storage path acceptance conditions appropriately.
• Lead traffic-analysis assessments; report residual exposure candidly to mission leadership.
