Job summary

Salt is seeking a Security Architect – Network & Cloud to design and implement enterprise security across cloud, network, and email. You will shape cloud security architecture and influence technical standards in collaboration with infrastructure and business stakeholders.

You will lead CASB and CNAPP deployments, configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Defender for Cloud Apps, and enforce DLP with Microsoft Purview in hybrid environments, while guiding security policy and architecture

We're Hiring: Security Architect – Network & Cloud

I'm partnering with a prestigious international professional services organization to find a Security Architect – Network & Cloud who can drive the design and implementation of enterprise security solutions across cloud, network, and email environments.

With a global presence spanning 70+ offices worldwide, this organization offers the opportunity to work in a complex, international environment where protecting sensitive information and enabling secure business operations are critical.

The Opportunity

This role goes beyond maintaining security tools. You'll help shape the organization's cloud security architecture, influence technical standards, and partner with infrastructure and business stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement enterprise cloud security architectures and solutions.
• Lead the design and management of CASB and CNAPP technologies.
• Configure and optimize Microsoft cloud security solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Implement data classification, sensitivity labeling, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies using Microsoft Purview.
• Provide architectural guidance on enterprise email security, including hybrid environments and emerging email threats.
• Assess cloud infrastructure and applications to identify security risks, configuration gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support network security design and troubleshooting across cloud environments, including security groups, network ACLs, and load balancers.
• Contribute to security policies, technical standards, architecture documentation, and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with technology teams and stakeholders to translate complex security requirements into practical solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud security solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies, particularly Defender for Cloud and Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise CASB and CNAPP solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, data classification, sensitivity labeling, and DLP policy enforcement.
• Experience with enterprise email security architecture in hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, network security controls, and infrastructure protection.
• Knowledge of IAM solutions, ideally Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience conducting security assessments, identifying architectural risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with network security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
