Qualifications

Job description

Experience Level:

* Overall 10-12 Years of experience in IT and minimum 3-4 years in Azure public cloud

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for designing the cloud architecture using Azure PaaS and IaaS offerings.
2. Conducting POCs for various use cases of Azure Public Cloud using PaaS offerings.
3. Migrating existing workloads to Azure cloud platform using Azure PaaS offerings.
4. Preparing and managing SOP documents for Azure PaaS offerings.

Technical Skills:

Mandatory Skills:

• Azure certification is required.
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager and ARM templates.
• Experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS offerings, and other Azure services.
• Experience with Azure container services – AKS, Azure Container Instances, and Web Apps for Containers.
• Good knowledge of Docker Containers.
• Experience migrating applications to Containers using various tools.
• Knowledge of Java and .NET applications.
• Experience migrating applications to Azure PaaS.
• Ability to create and deploy solutions on App Services, Microservices, WebJobs, Azure Functions, Event Grid, etc.
• Good understanding of Data Services – Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance.
• Knowledge of Azure Storage, Queue, and File Storage.
• Understanding of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with automation strategies for creating, managing, and deploying Azure resources.

Cloud Resources:

• Expertise in running large-scale data transformation and processing programs, creating and using Web Apps & Worker Roles, Service Bus, Message Queues.
• Good understanding of HDInsight, Data Lake Storage, Data Analytics, Data Warehouse.

Data Warehouse:

• Hands-on experience with enterprise data warehouses and ETL tools.
• Leading customer requirement gathering, analysis, and system requirement development.
• Understanding the end-to-end lifecycle of applications, including migration and management.

Excellent leadership qualities.
