Job summary

Qualifications

• 12+ years IT experience with cloud architecture focus.
• 7+ years designing AWS IAM policies and roles.
• 5+ years building/managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• 5+ years with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• 2+ years in Agile Scrum environments.
• Proven IaC experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field; Security+ certification required.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

We are seeking a senior Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable cloud solutions supporting a complex logistics IT environment. This role focuses on architecting cloud platforms that power warehouse management, transportation systems, and real-time logistics tracking while ensuring security, reliability, and performance at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and implementation of secure, scalable cloud solutions for logistics platforms
• Design cloud-native architectures supporting warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and real-time tracking applications
• Define and enforce AWS IAM policies and roles using least-privilege principles
• Architect, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices and version control tools (e.g., GitLab)
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to deliver cloud solutions aligned with business and technical goals
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance across teams
• Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and operational requirements
• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate cloud technologies and recommend best-fit solutions
• Support authorization and compliance efforts, including Public Trust or suitability requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of overall IT experience, with a strong focus on cloud architecture and infrastructure
• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing AWS IAM policies and roles
• 5+ years of experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• 5+ years of experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud services
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Security+ certification (required)
