Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Cloud-Based Analytics Developer to provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, and issue diagnosis/resolution. Applicants must hold a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Within the last 3 years, 1 year experience with Map/Reduce and/or Hadoop, Hive, and/or Pig.
• Within the last 3 years, 1 year experience with HDFS.
• Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification.
• Within the last 7 years, 5 years programming in Java, C, and/or C++.
• Within the last 5 years, 3 years developing in Windows/UNIX/Linux environments.
• Within the last 5 years, 3 years with OpenSource NoSQL (HBase/Accumulo/BigTable).
• Within the last 3 years, 1 year requirements analysis for OO systems.
• Ruby on Rails experience.
• Web apps with JavaScript.
• Big-Data Cloud scalability (AWS/Google/Facebook).
• Experience developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms.
• Compute cluster monitoring tools (Hobbit, Ganglia).
• CLOUDBASE internals: config/tuning on large clusters (>200 nodes).
• Cluster performance management (Nagios).
• COPILOT, PRESSUREWAVE, R6 Cloud tuning/installation.
• Linguistics/Rosette for Chinese/Arabic
• LDAP configuration/management.
• Restful services development.
• Analytics for social networks.
• Document ontologies and data models.
