Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a Hardware Engineer to own the design, development and root-cause analysis of a new segment of accelerated servers for AI/ML workloads. You will work with interdisciplinary teams, partner with manufacturing, and guide vendors from concept to production, ensuring scalable, high-performance servers for AWS data centers.

You will engage with customers to understand technical needs, apply your server design expertise, and lead cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components based on design intent and approved equipment submissions.
Knowledge of server hardware and components.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
1+ years of server hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
4+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience.

Responsibilities

Own and lead design, development and root cause analysis of a new segment of accelerated servers.
Collaborate with customers and multiple teams to architect scalable server solutions.
Oversee manufacturing partners to bring servers to data center and monitor fleet quality.
Interfacing with internal/external customers to understand project requirements and improve current systems.
