Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking an AI and Cloud Engineer to design, build, and scale next-generation intelligent systems bridging AI and cloud infrastructure. You will architect multi-agent flows, implement RAG pipelines, and ensure secure AI deployments serving thousands of users.

The role requires 7+ years of software engineering with AI/NLP experience, active Secret clearance, and strong cloud skills in AWS or OCI, Linux, and RESTful services, in an Agile team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to production AI, ML, or NLP development.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable multi-agent systems using advanced routing and hierarchical design patterns.
• Build, optimize, and maintain production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines and semantic search systems.
• Design and manage data preprocessing workflows, chunking strategies, and vector database infrastructure.
• Deploy, secure, and monitor AI applications and microservices within cloud environments.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, UI/UX designers, and subject matter experts to integrate AI features into user-facing products.
• Establish and enforce security best practices for large language model implementations and data privacy.
