Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Verdi, NV is hosting a national hiring event for a seasonal Apparel Processing Outfitter. Interviews will be conducted on site during the event, with immediate consideration for various part-time roles.

The role involves processing apparel shipments, replenishing stock, maintaining backroom organization, and providing friendly customer service. High school diploma required; no prior experience necessary.

Qualifications

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & POS register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

POSITION SUMMARY

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
