Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years of mechanisms development experience (ideally related to latching, handles, or exterior mechanisms).
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering plastics, steels, and manufacturing processes (molding, stampings, castings).
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with CATIA V5/V6, Teamcenter/Enovia, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Engineering Tools: Expertise with DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, and problem‑solving tools (5D/8D, 6‑sigma).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for regular interaction with technical groups and management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with water management, sealing design, greases, and painted plastics.
  • Understanding of electronics such as microswitches and small harnesses.
  • Familiarity with tolerance analytical tools (C‑Tol, 3DCS, Enventive) or CAE tools (ADAMS, FEA, Hypermesh).
