Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Closing Specialist to assist Owners and guests with property usage, contracts, and experiences that create memorable vacation memories. The role emphasizes accurate paperwork, follow-up, and collaboration with the Sales team to drive revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction.

The position requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays, strong communication, and the ability to manage records and inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
• Lift/carry/push/pull up to 10 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Answer Owner questions regarding use of properties and location amenities; make recommendations based on Owner information.
• Develop and maintain records on customer contacts and support effective follow-up opportunities.
• Advise Sales team on ownership contracts issues (titles, financing, pre-approval).
• Ensure signed contract paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Respond to Sales team requests related to contract status and information needs.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling.

As a Closing Specialist, a typical day will include:

• Answer Owner questions regarding the use of properties and location amenities; make recommendations given the background information obtained on the Owner through discovery.

• Develop and maintain records on customer contacts and use that information to support effective follow-up opportunities.

• Advise Sales team on issues related to ownership contracts (e.g., titles, financing, pre-approval).

• Ensure that signed contract paperwork is accurate and contains all necessary information and documentation.

• Respond to Sales team requests related to contract status, such as additional information required, follow-up needed, or tracking.

• Uses sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty, including up-selling.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.

• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.

• Contribute to team goals.

• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Closing Specialist:

• Available to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 10 lbs without assistance.

• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
