We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Closing Manager to join our team and oversee the critical final stages of our boat and yacht sales process.

Position Overview

The Closing Manager will be responsible for managing transactions from accepted offer through successful closing. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple parties and deadlines simultaneously.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the importance of excellent customer service, and can confidently manage the many moving pieces involved in a marine transaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the closing process for new and used boat and yacht transactions from contract to completion
  • Coordinate purchase agreements, deposits, documentation, financing, insurance, registrations, and title requirements
  • Communicate effectively with buyers, sellers, brokers, lenders, attorneys, documentation companies, marinas, and other third parties
  • Track transaction milestones, deadlines, deposits, inspections, surveys, sea trials, and closing requirements
  • Review transaction paperwork for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure all required documentation is received and properly executed
  • Coordinate final closing statements and ensure financial details are accurate
  • Facilitate the transfer of ownership, titles, registrations, and other required documentation
  • Maintain organized and accurate transaction files
  • Identify potential issues or delays and proactively work to resolve them
  • Provide buyers and sellers with timely updates throughout the closing process
  • Ensure transactions remain on schedule and meet company standards
  • Work closely with the sales team to create a seamless transition from signed contract to completed sale
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and customer information
  • Continuously improve closing procedures, systems, and processes
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in yacht, boat, automotive, real estate, finance, legal, or another transaction-driven industry preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-through abilities
  • Comfortable working with contracts, financial documents, and confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a sales team
  • Professional, polished, and customer-service-oriented demeanor

Marine industry experience is highly preferred, but candidates with strong transaction-management experience in other industries are encouraged to apply.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented closer who takes ownership of every transaction. You are comfortable communicating with high-net-worth clients and multiple professionals simultaneously, you anticipate problems before they become issues, and you take pride in ensuring that every detail is handled correctly.

You understand that in the luxury yacht business, the closing experience is just as important as the sale itself.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Opportunity to work within the luxury marine and yacht industry
  • Professional and collaborative work environment
  • Opportunities for career growth
  • The opportunity to work with premium boats, yachts, and high-value clientele
