Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer knowledge to operate store systems and process transactions.
• Ability to lead store operations during closing shifts and maintain standards.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Dependability and leadership to support team members.
• Customer-focused approach with prompt issue resolution.
• ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of all products to assist customers and support operations.
• Master all closing duties as defined and updated by the Store Director.
• Learn front-end processes and ensure efficient operation during opening/closing shifts.
• Learn and become an expert in all grocery equipment, hardware, software, and tasks.
• Observe temperatures of coolers and report issues promptly.
• Ensure equipment is working and report safety hazards.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
• Maintain stocking of perishables and sale items during shifts.
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain a safe environment.
• Support departments in completing end-of-shift closing procedures.
• Stock inventory from back stock and organize properly.
• Maintain a clean backroom environment throughout the shift.
• Ensure cooler/freezer doors are closed and lights off when closing.
• Secure doors, windows and alarm at end of shift.
• Follow AG Supermarkets policies and communicate with Store Director.
