Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring an entry level Stocking Clerk in Illinois to keep shelves stocked and ready for customers. You will move products from pallets to shelves, manage back-stock, and keep back rooms organized while interacting with customers in a friendly manner.

The role emphasizes fast-paced teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail, with opportunities to grow through development programs and education assistance. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be available Sundays through Saturdays 4PM–11PM.
• Entry level stocking role focused on retail tasks and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
