Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Clinician for the Surgical/Trauma ICU Step Down Unit to deliver skilled nursing care and collaborate with leadership on unit operations. You will plan, implement, and document care while upholding patient rights and hospital values.

Under supervision, the clinician will use advanced clinical skills to ensure high-quality patient care, coordinating with the manager and the care team to maintain smooth unit operations on site at the TGH Main Campus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
• BSN required.
• One year of critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients under general supervision and established standards.
• Collaborate with the unit manager in operations and planning.
• Document nursing assessments and identify interventions.
• Plan and direct the care goals and the care plan while upholding patients' rights.

Job Summary

Under general supervision and according to established nursing standards, policies, procedures and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients.Collaborates and participates with the manager in unit operations.Exercises independent judgement and advanced clinical skills.Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments, identifies and reports situations requiring intervention, formulates and communicates goals and directed plan of care; assures patients rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
