Responsible for providing clinical assessment and treatment services to clients with a variety of mental health issues. Works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide optimal, quality services to clients. Responsible for the completion of client medical records, in compliance with regulatory standards. Develops discharge plans and linkages aimed at encouraging functioning within the community.
Requires knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through a Master’s degree in Social Work, with two years of supervised work experience, plus three to six months of on-the-job training and orientation. Licensure as an LCSW by the State of New Jersey OR as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the State of New Jersey is required. Must have the ability to prepare detailed assessments of patient referrals, counsel individuals, groups, or families, and perform other duties requiring a similar level of communication skill. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
