Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking a Clinician I to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders across individuals, couples, and families. The role requires applying psychotherapeutic theories and delivering direct services to meet annual contract targets.

You will manage caseloads, participate in case reviews, and contribute to program development while coordinating with supervisors and staff. Evening hours may be required and a CA driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in MFT or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• 1 year experience in a clinical community-based setting preferred.
• CA Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Direct service treatment, including diagnostic intakes, crisis intervention, and ongoing individual, family, and group therapy.
• Caseload management and information/referral advocacy.
• Community outreach, parent education, and presentation activities as needed.
• Participation in case reviews, consultations, and peer support meetings.
• Treatment planning, utilization review, and related documentation.
• May work evening hours to meet client needs.

Salary Range: $27.00 To $33.00 Hourly

Summary

The Clinician I is responsible for accessing adults and children by diagnosing and treating mental and emotional disorders. Apply psychotherapeutic and family system theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals, couples, and families to treat such diagnosed emotional and mental disorders.

• Direct service treatment, including diagnostic (intakes), crisis intervention, and on-going treatment (individual, family, and group.) Provision of direct service hours to ensure contract targets are met annually.


• Caseload management: information/referral advocacy.


• Community outreach, presentation, and parent education training as necessary to facilitate individual case and program goals.


• Team accountability and responsibilities along with project supervisors, students, other divisions, and administrative staff.


• Generation and implementation of Treatment Plans, utilization Review, and other case planning activities.


• Participation and presentation at case review/disposition, case consultation, and peer support meetings.


• Assisting in program start-up activities and subsequent (on-going) statistical and recording as needed


• This position may be required to work evening hours to ensure the needs of clients are met.


• Participate in community outreach events as needed.

Qualifications/Skills

• 1 year experience in a clinical community-based setting preferred.


• Experience with child /group therapy.


• Experience with treating depression, anxiety, behavioral, trauma


• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to communicate effectively via e-mails.


• Ability to analyze and interpret information to plan appropriate treatments.

Education, Training and Experience

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work from an accredited institution


• Valid CA Driver's License and proof of Automobile Insurance.
