Job summary

BayMark Health Services' San Antonio Recovery Center in San Antonio, TX seeks a Full Time Clinician for residential services. You will provide individual, group, family and couples therapy and coordinate care within a multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires a Master’s degree and Texas licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LPC-A/LMFT). Experience with addiction and dual diagnoses is desirable; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling or an equivalent field.
• Licensed in Texas as LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LPC-A/LMFT.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and promptly respond to intake referrals within 72 hours of case assignment.
• Manage a caseload of clients.
• Conduct Bio/Psycho/Social assessments, diagnoses and formulate treatment plans.
• Assist with aftercare and discharge planning for clients.
• Contact families within 72 hours of admission and provide updates with consent.
• Provide individual, group, family and/or couples therapy.
• Provide case management and referrals to external resources as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external professionals as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented client records per DSHS and JCAHO standards.
• Share on-call emergency consultation and crisis intervention responsibilities.
• Weekend availability to cover emergencies/shifts.
• Attend weekly team meetings and general staff meetings.

Full Time Clinician - Residential

San Antonio Recovery Center opened May of 2012. We are nestled in the heart of San Antonio, with three separate locations servicing detox, residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care. The mission of SARC is to provide compassionate and comprehensive treatment for individuals grappling with mental health and substance use disorders. We are dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to recovery, fostering a sense of belonging within our supportive community. Through evidenced-based therapies, personalized care plans, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we strive to guide our clients toward lasting recovery and the restoration of their well-being. Required

• Master’s Degree
• License: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A, LMFT current license in Texas.

Desired

• Experience in addiction and dual diagnoses.
• Experience running process therapy groups.
• Experience working with adults, couples and families who struggle with substance abuse.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and promptly respond to intake referrals within 72 hours upon assignment of the case.
• Ability to manage a caseload of clients.
• Conduct Bio/Psycho/Social assessments, diagnoses and formulate treatment plans.
• Complete and assist clients in aftercare and discharge planning.
• Contact client family within 72 hours of admit and continue to update them, if consent permits.
• Provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, family and/or couples therapy to clients and their families.
• Provide case management services as needed, including referrals to necessary outside resources when needed.
• Collaborate with professionals both within and outside the agency, as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented client records with a quality of documentation that meets DSHS and JCAHO standards.
• Share responsibility for on-call emergency consultation and crisis intervention, including after-hours telephone coverage.
• Must be available on weekends to cover emergencies/shifts as needed.
• Attend team meetings on a weekly basis to ensure quality care for clients.
• Attend staff development and general staff meetings.
