Job summary

TURN is seeking a full-time mental health professional in Fresno, CA to recommend and assist with access to medical, educational, social, vocational, housing, and more. You will initiate referrals, coordinate with health providers, and advocate for clients’ whole-person care.

The role requires a Master’s degree and CA BBS registration. Valid driver's license and vehicle are needed for travel. Sign-on bonus included and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and CA BBS registration (AFT, ACSW, APCC) required.
• Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, mental health evaluations, family-individual-group therapy, plan development, case consultation, crisis intervention, discharge placement, and assist clients in meeting basic needs and symptom management.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services.
• Facilitate placement including pre-placement visits, and transportation as needed.
• Shift coverage including part of the on-call team.
• Provide field-based services as required by program and client need.
• Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
• Participate in scheduled program meetings.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.

Sign- On Bonus will be paid out in ONE installment: A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is available for qualified candidates upon successful completion of six (6) months of continuous employment in the designated program and position.
