Job summary

Youth Consultation Service in Vineland, NJ is seeking a full-time Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team. The Clinician will provide individual and group therapy within a collaborative setting, with a focus on Trauma Focused CBT and family-based interventions.

The position reports to the Clinical Director, offers clinical supervision, monthly rounds, training, a competitive salary and benefits package, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology or related field with NJ independent license (LCSW/LMFT/LPC/PsyD/PhD).
• Alternatively, master’s level therapist licensed in NJ (LSW/LAC) under on-site supervision with plan to achieve licensure within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete Strengths and Needs, and Biopsychosocial (BSP) assessment (with new admission).
• Develop and implement safety/soothing plans with youth and family.
• Develop and work with youth and family on a comprehensive treatment plan and discharge plan (with new discharge).
• Provide individual therapy, if applicable.
• Provide group therapy, if applicable.
• Attend treatment team meetings.
• The five youth should receive Trauma Focused CBT, Structural Family Therapy, and Allied Therapeutic Leisure Pursuits.

Our Clinician will become a part of our multidisciplinary team (Psychiatrist, Nurse, Residential Counselors) that provide an array of therapeutic services to individuals in our care. Small caseloads allow us to provide the highest quality of care, and a commitment to the professional growth and clinical development of our team members.

This position reports to our Clinical Director who can provide clinical supervision, while the agency at large offers monthly clinical rounds, and training to enhance and broaden learning opportunities and professional development. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including generous paid time off, flexible scheduling, and a sign on bonus of $2,500.00!
