Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and Health Unit Coordination.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a receptionist on the unit, greeting and directing visitors and staff.
• Transcribes physicians' orders promptly and accurately.
• Answers phone calls, routes callers and takes messages.
• Assists in data entry and medical records handling.
• Maintains unit office supplies and supports housekeeping/maintenance requests.
