Job summary

USA Health is seeking a dedicated clinical research coordinator to support data collection, CRF handling, recruitment of research participants, and trial logistics across Gulf Coast sites. You will assist in coordinating lab procedures, data entry into EDC, and ensuring adherence to protocols, SOPs, and infection control standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a healthcare related field is required.
• Completion of an approved clinical program with 1 year experience in a research or healthcare facility required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports preliminary data for clinical research trials.
• Assists with Case Report Forms (CRFs) according to protocol.
• Assists with recruitment of research patients.
• Performs follow up with research participants as protocol outlines.
• Participates in trial start up and close out activities as indicated.
• Schedules and prepares for study visits.
• Assist in coordination of lab and procedures.
• Assists with development of SOPs for data quality assurance.
• Performs general clerical duties (faxing, scanning, routing messages, managing study supplies/materials).
• May assist or perform under supervision a variety of medical procedures.
• May assist in compiling, editing and proofing written reports.
• May perform data analysis using software packages; enters data into EDC systems.
• Demonstrates flexibility and initiative with respect to process improvement.
• Establishes effective working relationships with cross-functional team(s).
• Identifies and responds to internal/external customer needs.
• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements.
• Adheres to Infection Control and Safety Standards.
• Regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule and overtime as required.
• Related duties as assigned.

Education

Associate's Degree in healthcare field

Completion of a clinical program; 1 year experience in research/healthcare facility
