Job summary

Evolution Research Group (ERG) is seeking a Research Pharmacist to support IP pharmacy activities for ongoing clinical trials in a San Antonio site. The role requires coordinating, organizing and implementing clinical data practices related to investigational drugs and study materials under GCP, ICH, HIPAA, and SOPs, with emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Must have thorough knowledge of clinical research concepts, FDA regulations and ICH Guidelines regarding drug development and data management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Training and/or certification as a Pharmacy Technician; hospital pharmacy exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow procedures for preparation, dispensing and distribution of investigational drugs.
Enter pharmacy data into the system using codes and labels.
Maintain recordkeeping for protocols, subjects, inventory and dispensing per regulatory requirements.
Ensure proper storage, handling and security of investigational products.
Assist with monthly pharmacy audits and quality assurance procedures.
Keep a neat, organized work area and develop an efficient daily routine.
Possibly perform duties beyond the listed responsibilities as needed.
