Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Data Manager I to join the Center for Clinical Trials at Tufts CTSI and Tufts Medical Center. You will support investigators and biostatisticians by translating protocols into REDCap data collection and ensuring data quality within GCP-compliant processes.

This hands-on role emphasizes attention to detail, project coordination, and mentorship of data staff. You will develop eCRFs, perform data cleaning, query resolution, and prepare analysis-ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health science, public health, epidemiology, or related field with biostatistics coursework.
• 3 years of experience as a clinical data manager with REDCap and/or EDC systems.
• Experience developing relational databases for clinical studies using REDCap/EDC.

Responsibilities

• Develops eCRFs, edit checks, and data management plans.
• Communicates with trial site staff to resolve data queries and perform descriptive analyses.
• Leads daily data activities for assigned studies.
• Designs, tests, and manages Web-based EDC systems to support study outcomes.
• Writes and implements data management plans and SOP-aligned guidelines.
