Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Clinical Studies Coordinator II to independently coordinate multiple clinical research studies within the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, operating with minimal supervision. You will recruit participants, obtain informed consent, and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with clinical research experience and may have SOCRA/ACRP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years' experience in clinical research or equivalent.
• SOCRA or ACRP certification preferred.
• Must complete CITI Human Subjects Research certification if not already completed.
• WakeOne training for research coordinators required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit patients to studies and assist recruitment activities.
• Obtain informed consent and reinforce information provided to subjects and families.
• Abstract data from medical records and complete case report forms.
• Communicate protocol or data management issues to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Provide staff mentorship and participate in team and quality improvement activities.
• Follow Wake Forest Baptist/department policies and maintain confidentiality.
