Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize technology tools to organize, store, and manage database systems.
• Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data within a department or division.
• Familiarity with legislation and regulatory bodies affecting healthcare practices.
• Understanding of rights and responsibilities of patients and caregivers.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, or activities, making effective judgments about prioritization and time allocation.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co‑workers, visitors, and other staff.
• Performs research, database, biospecimen collection and processing, and clerical duties to support clinical trials.
• Organizes and maintains documentation required for clinical trials.
• Informs Principal Investigator and/or designated individuals of any issues concerning patient response to treatment or adverse effects.
• Assists Principal Investigator with regulatory filings, including IRB submissions.
• May assist in the enrollment of human subjects.
• Provides clerical and technical support to ensure adherence to research protocols and quality of information received.
