Summary

The Volunteer Recruitment Support assists colleagues in the Business Operations department with recruitment activities for trial subjects. This includes developing and maintaining databases, pre-selecting suitable study candidates, and organizing recruitment activities before, during, and after studies. The role supports clinical trials by drafting and using recruitment‑related documents and performing administrative tasks. It also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to the protection of volunteers' confidential data.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage the subject/patient database, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain subject recruitment capabilities for a broad range of studies.
  • Identify and implement new methods for subject recruitment to expand the panel.
  • Assist with recruitment campaigns, including designing and publishing advertisements.
  • Ensure accuracy, accessibility, and confidentiality of volunteer records and reports.
  • Act as a primary contact for potential volunteers, providing information about the recruitment process and studies.
  • Process new requests from various media and proactively engage volunteers.
  • Support internal clinical research staff with subject pre‑selection and eligibility checks.
  • Communicate protocol requirements to study subjects and manage subject communications.
  • Schedule and manage subject appointments and ensure timely recruitment for study screenings.
  • Provide training to less experienced staff and maintain a professional attitude towards subjects.
  • Track advertising metrics to optimize recruitment strategies.
  • Assist in the conduct of clinical trials and data management activities.
  • Participate in community outreach and social media management to increase unit awareness.
  • Ensure high-quality data collection and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in administrative and financial tasks related to clinical studies.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or related discipline required.
  • Health care practice experience/training with a valid license preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • BLS certification required.

Pay Transparency

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.59 - $25.59/hour. Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full‑time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus.
