Job summary

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), a McKesson subsidiary, seeks a Study Activation Specialist to manage startup activities for clinical trials within the Strategic Sites program. You will coordinate across internal SC groups, Strategic Sites physicians and staff, CROs, and pharmaceutical companies, acting as the primary contact through feasibility, planning, and initiation up to site activation.

Ideal candidates have a background in healthcare or clinical trials and are skilled at building

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Bachelor Degree preferred.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, regulatory processes, clinical trials and medical terminology.
The availability to travel occasionally.
At least one year of experience in Customer Service in a Client Facing Role.
Experience in healthcare, research, pharmaceutical or marketing industries preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships with sponsors and CROs to source potential studies.
Maintain a database of potential pharmaceutical and CRO relationships.
Market Sarah Cannon services and capabilities to pharmaceutical companies, CROs and industry networks.
Develop and maintain strong industry ties to acquire new studies.
Provide information and updates on current studies in startup processes at Sponsor meetings.
Track all site metrics relating to the study start-up process for each Strategic Site.
Other duties as assigned.
