Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Training and Development professional for a role based in Maitland, FL with 100% travel across Central Florida. The position covers 7a–7p shifts, trains staff, and ensures compliance with safety and clinical standards.

Responsibilities include mentoring employees, handling performance data, maintaining education requirements, and delivering comprehensive patient care in office visits and procedures.

Qualifications

  • EMR Superuser required
  • Must be familiar with PCMH standards
  • Must be familiar with Quality metrics
  • Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology
  • Knowledge of chronic disease management
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources
  • Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems
  • Ability to function in stressful, fast-paced environments and apply stress management
  • Ability to resolve issues and work independently within certification scope
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and maintain professionalism
  • Clear English reading/writing and verbal communication
  • Experience with computers

Hours vary between 7a - 7p / 8-hour shifts

  • Trains and mentors new employees and those needing additional training, serving as an educational resource.

  • Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) [Required] OR
