Summary
As a partner in building brighter futures for youth and their families, your role will be to provide clinical support that aligns with The Village Network’s Mission, Vision & Values.
Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral health services, including assessing a client’s therapeutic needs/strengths, establishing a therapeutic relationship, and utilizing interventions that enhance overall functioning.
- Meet agency standards and productivity by completing documentation such as assessments, progress notes, reports and Individual Service Plans.
- Serve as a contact point for families, agencies, and court, engaging in correspondence and communicating information within confidentiality policies.
- Attend staff meetings, court hearings, etc. based on client needs.
- Act as a clinical lead for cases: design, write, and coordinate individual treatment plans; review outside reports; discuss client progress with staff; revise plans for optimal care; monitor compliance; participate in team and group meetings.
- Strive to meet the goals and objectives from TVN’s Strategic Plan.
- Implement TVN’s clinical models (TIC, NMT & CPS) with fidelity.
- Ensure that high‑risk interventions (restraints) are kept to a minimum through the Six Core Strategies for Violence‑Free and Coercion‑Free treatment.
- Work with culturally diverse populations and families.
- Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in computer use, Word, and Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field.
- LSW or LPC required; independent licensure and two years of prior experience desirable.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record; willingness to travel during day and occasionally overnight; ability to visit clients’ homes (may or may not be handicapped accessible).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong teamwork and organization/time‑management.
Physical Demands
- Use restraints as required, with sufficient strength and completion of extensive training.
- Handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time; lift 20 pounds independently.
- Remain alert to problems, needs or emergencies, maintaining a safe environment for clients.
- Communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external.
Benefits
Signing bonus: $3,000 ($1,000 at 90 days, $1,000 at 6 months, $1,000 at 1 year). PTO: up to 272 hours (34 days) in first year, plus 6 paid holidays; potential for PTO buy‑back. Retiree contributions and 403(b) contributions available.
